I’m sorry for your loss, it’s a beautiful photo you posted. I lost my mother to cancer last December and agree with the above commenter that losing a parent changes a soul.
Thank you so much Vicki, and I’m so sorry to hear about your mother as well. Losing a mother is just devastating, no matter how old we are. It certainly does change a soul 🙂
I am so sorry for your loss Linda, I too know what you are feeling as both my parents succumbed to that horrible disease. I join you in honoring your momma. She was a very beautiful woman. Try to have a great day remembering all the good and happy times. 🙂
Thank you for this post. It helped me… Her picture and your words settled into a place in my brain and spoke to me, over and over, for the past few months. I’m sure you wanted to help change a life – and you did. I quit 🙂
So sorry for your loss I lost my Dad to the same thing just over 7 years ago I miss him so much thinking of you and your Mom today.
Thank you so much, so sorry for your loss as well. It never gets any ‘easier’, as you know 🙂
It really doesn’t except the memories seem fonder
Yes they do 🙂
Losing a parent changes a soul, but remembering the good, the great things, helps make bearing the load possible
Thank you for your kind words, they are so true 🙂

Having lost my mother just a year ago this past January, I can certainly empathize with you. This is a lovely photo of your mother.
Thank you Pat 🙂 So sorry for your loss as well, and so recent for you 🙂
Sorry for your loss Lynda. Birthdays are one of the hardest days to remember a loved one I’ve heard.
Thank you Alastair 🙂
