I just posted this shot very recently, but thought it was a good choice for this challenge. This is a window in the farmhouse that my grandparents lived in for about 10 years when I was growing up. Just this past Saturday, we were given the opportunity by the young couple who lives there currently, to tour the farmhouse and barns on the property. The young couple is working on restoring the farm to it’s original glory 🙂

Memories

My brothers and sister and I took my father out to lunch last Saturday for Fathers Day. We decided to take a short ride to the farm that my grandparents rented a house on when we were little kids. The young couple who lives there now gave us a complete tour of the old farm, inside the farmhouse and all the barns! This is a window inside the farmhouse, looking out into the back garden. You can see the thick casing, it has the original glass, and the whole house has the original radiator heating. The couple is restoring the farm, my father was so happy!!
